Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an accounting professional in Navi Mumbai to manage day-to-day financial operations, including AP/AR, GL, and reconciliations. You will generate financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting, with mandatory Odoo ERP experience.

The role involves ensuring tax compliance, controls, and process improvements across finance and related IT tasks. SME experience is preferred, with 2–4 years in accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally in an SME environment.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.

Odoo ERP Management

• Manage master data in odoo, database back up and access controls
• Generate financial reports and dashboards from Odoo.
• Collaborate with IT or external vendors for troubleshooting Odoo-related issues.
• Support process automation and data accuracy across Odoo modules.

Ad Hoc & Cross-Functional Tasks

• Provide general administrative and IT support, such as setting up user accounts, managing software tools, setting up hardware or liaising with IT service providers
• Administer and maintain systems, servers, firewalls and network security.
• Assist in data migration, system backups and document management.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across departments.

Qualifications & Requirements
