Job summary

Candor Foods is seeking a Finance-ERP specialist to manage master data, company setups, and financial configurations within the Odoo ERP. The role covers end-to-end UAT testing, financial validations, and coordination with developers to translate business needs into system changes.

The ideal candidate has an MBA in Finance with hands-on Odoo ERP experience and the ability to independently verify financial outcomes of system changes, ensuring accurate P&L and balance sheet impacts.

Responsibilities

• ERP Master Data & Company Setup: Open and configure new companies/legal entities within Odoo; set up stores/warehouses; maintain chart of accounts and ledgers; ensure master data is audit-ready.
• Financial Configuration & Rate Management: Update pricing/rate changes; configure taxes, costing, and finance-related parameters; ensure correct accounting treatment before go-live.
• Process Testing & Financial Validation (UAT): Review proposed processes with P&L and Balance Sheet impact; test configurations; validate transactions flow into financial statements; sign off before go-live.
• Coordination with Technical Developer: Translate business/finance requirements into specs; review developer's build against requirements; act as functional gatekeeper for financial sign-off.
• ERP Support & Issue Resolution: Handle day-to-day support; troubleshoot data/workflow/config issues; maintain continuity with minimal downtime.
• Business Expansion Support: Onboard new companies/stores/warehouses; ensure setups follow financial and operational controls.

Role & responsibilities

1. ERP Master Data & Company Setup

• Open and configure new companies/legal entities within Odoo
• Set up new stores/warehouses in the system as the business expands
• Create and maintain chart of accounts and ledgers for each entity
• Ensure master data (accounts, ledgers, warehouses) is accurate and audit-ready

2. Financial Configuration & Rate Management

• Update and manage pricing/rate changes within the ERP as required by business
• Configure taxes, costing, and other finance-linked parameters
• Ensure changes align with correct accounting treatment before going live

3. Process Testing & Financial Validation (UAT)

• Review any proposed new process or system change from a P&L and Balance Sheet impact perspective
• Test new configurations/processes in the test/staging environment before production rollout
• Validate that transactions flow correctly into financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, ledgers)
• Sign off on test results and confirm accuracy before instructing the developer to proceed

4. Coordination with Technical Developer

• Translate business/finance requirements into clear specifications for the developer
• Review developer's technical build against the tested requirement before go-live
• Act as the functional gatekeeper no technical change goes live without her financial sign-off

5. ERP Support & Issue Resolution

• Handle day-to-day support requests from users across the organization
• Troubleshoot data, workflow, or configuration issues within Odoo
• Maintain continuity of operations by resolving issues with minimal downtime

6. Business Expansion Support

• Support onboarding of new companies, stores, and warehouses into the ERP as the business grows
• Ensure new setups follow existing financial and operational controls

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA (Finance) or equivalent finance background strong understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet flows
• Prior hands-on experience working with Odoo ERP (implementation, configuration, or support)
• Ability to independently test and validate financial outcomes of system/process changes
• Comfortable coordinating with technical/developer teams to translate business needs into system changes
