Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Delhi is seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting and assist with month-end closing. The role requires hands-on Odoo ERP experience and accurate data handling.

You will also support budgeting, forecasting and cross-functional tasks while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls across SME operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally in an SME environment.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Manage master data in Odoo, database backup and access controls.
• Generate financial reports and dashboards from Odoo.
• Collaborate with IT or external vendors for troubleshooting Odoo-related issues.
• Support process automation and data accuracy across Odoo modules.
• Provide general administrative and IT support, such as setting up user accounts and liaising with IT service providers.
• Administer and maintain systems, servers, firewalls and network security.
• Assist in data migration, system backups and document management.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across departments.
