Job summary

Ithiel Enterprise in Mumbai is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting, GST compliance, bank reconciliation, and financial records for our e-commerce operations across marketplaces.

You will use Tally Prime, handle sales/purchase/expense entries, and coordinate with our CA for GST filings and audits.

2+ years of accounting experience with GST knowledge and accuracy are essential; e-commerce GST exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient with Tally Prime, GST, and Excel.
• Experience in bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
• E-commerce or multi-state GST experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Manage sales, purchase, expense and bank entries.
• Handle GST compliance, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and ITC reconciliation.
• Reconcile bank accounts and marketplace settlements.
• Verify marketplace commissions, deductions, TDS and TCS.
• Maintain vendor accounts, outstanding payments and import expenses.
• Prepare monthly P&L, Trial Balance and other financial reports.
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for GST filings and audits.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely compliance.
