Job summary

Finroles is seeking an experienced Accountant with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, GST compliance, and day-to-day finance operations. The role emphasizes accuracy and timely reporting, including reconciling accounts and handling online-platform transactions.

The ideal candidate will manage GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B) and TDS accounting, perform reconciliations, maintain records, and work independently with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon or Blinkit.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with 4-5 years of experience in accounting, GST compliance, reconciliations, and day-to-day finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting and GST and preferably have experience handling accounting and reconciliation for e-commerce/online platforms such as Amazon, Blinkit, or similar platforms. Candidates who may not have direct e-commerce experience but demonstrate strong accounting fundamentals, GST knowledge, reconciliation skills, and the ability to independently manage online-platform transactions will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, journal entries and other accounting transactions.
• Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and reconciliation of GSTR-2B.
• Ensure accurate calculation and reconciliation of GST liabilities and eligible ITC.
• Handle TDS accounting, reconciliation and related compliance.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for accounting and statutory compliance.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrective entries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries.
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Strong understanding of bank, vendor and customer reconciliation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
