Job summary

Bruker India is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the Corporate Finance function based in Mumbai, India. The role covers day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, audits, statutory compliance, tax management, and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities include managing closings, data integrity, tax filings, audits, and coordinating with tax consultants. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, team spirit, and familiarity with US GAAP in an Indian subsidiary context.

Qualifications

• B. Com/M.Com or CA Inter, MBA Finance or Equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing, Customs, USGAAP reporting, Taxation.
• Deep understanding of Indian tax, statutory, and regulatory frameworks.
• Prior experience in Indian subsidiary of a multinational (preferable).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Bruker India is looking for an experienced Accountant to support the Corporate Finance function based in Mumbai, India.

Job Summary:

This position will be important in helping the team on day to day accounting, financial reporting, applicable audits, statutory compliance, tax management, and regulatory filings. This role is support hand to ensuring accurate financial data management and timely compliance of various laws and seamless coordination with various stakeholders, business partnering and require a proactive & highly disciplined candidate.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing all general accounting functions including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, accounting operations, consisting of accounts payable, accruals, fixed asset management, and reporting (group consolidation, management reporting, local statutory and regulatory reporting) in line with USGAAAP & Indian GAAP and corporate reporting requirements as per USGAAP.
• Ensure the timely and accurate submission of financial data and related reports to various stakeholders.
• Maintain internal accounting systems, manage ERP data integrity, and oversee reconciliation processes.
• Work on direct and indirect tax filings including GST, TDS, income tax, and transfer pricing documentation, in close collaboration with tax advisors and the Finance manager.
• Liaise with the external tax consultants and ensure full support extended to Finance manager in compliance with Indian tax laws and regulatory changes.
• Plan, drive & manage internal and external audits as assigned (statutory, tax, and internal controls).
• Should be responsible for supporting secretarial compliance along with our consultant CS, of the Indian entity, preparation of board resolution, ensuring all ROC filings, board meetings, and statutory registers are maintained in accordance with the Companies Act.
• Help finance team in RBI compliance related filings and handling customs related compliance including SVB.
• Coordinate and working closely with the external tax consultants and others for compliance management.
• Foster collaboration across departments, business partnering to ensure the required support and guidance are available to the business units & various other stake holders to ensure proper financial transparency.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain strong internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, or regulatory breaches.
• Handling Intercompany related billing, payments , reconciliations and follow-up and compliance.

Qualifications

• Preferred: B. Com/M.Com or CA Inter, MBA Finance or Equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing, Customs, Accounting and USGAAP reporting, Taxation (Direct and Indirect) etc.
• Deep understanding of Indian tax, statutory, and regulatory frameworks
• Prior experience working in an Indian subsidiary of a multinational corporation (Preferable)
• Person MUST be a very good team player. Should have idea about USGAAP
• Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Results oriented and business focused.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and problem solving skills. Preferably from US MNC's
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and details effectively and manage non-negotiable timelines
• Ability of work independently with minimal supervision. Driven by the process & Policies
• Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain trust and confidence with the finance and operational teams throughout the Bruker
• Advanced PC skills, MS Word and MS Excel and particularly knowledge of SAP ERP is desirable, preferable with SAP HANA will be an additional advantage
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency (spoken and written) in English.
