Role Overview

We areseekingan experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations in Bangalore as well as support the overall financial operations in other locations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
3. Support the Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
4. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
5. Prepare Annual financial reports.
6. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
7. Assist with audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
8. Monitor and manage cash flow and expense tracking.
9. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
2. Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an IT or technology-driven company.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
4. Familiarity with statutory compliance and tax regulations.
5. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP Business One) and MS Excel.
6. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
