Job summary

Evergreen Enterprises in India is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 4–5 years of experience. You will manage day-to-day accounting in Tally, handle payables/receivables, prepare vouchers, assist in payroll and statutory compliance, and coordinate with auditors. Strong Excel skills and GST familiarity are desirable.

Salary budget is ₹25,000 per month. Construction industry experience is an added advantage, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Mandatory experience in Tally.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Experience in the construction field is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, and billing entries.
• Assist in payroll processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, GST if applicable).
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger verification.
• Maintain financial records, reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors and support during audits.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper cost tracking.
• Ensure accuracy and timely updating of accounts.
