Job summary

West Best Buildcon in Mumbai seeks an experienced finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting, GST/TDS/Income Tax compliance, and monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting for construction projects.

The candidate should be hands-on with Tally/ERP and MS Excel, capable of supervising the accounts team, preparing MIS, and coordinating with auditors, banks and internal departments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in construction / real estate / infrastructure companies preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP / accounting software.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Good analytical, communication, and team-management skills.
• Ability to independently handle the complete accounts function.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
• Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other applicable statutory returns.
• Manage bank reconciliations, vendor payments, customer receipts, and cash-flow monitoring.
• Monitor project-wise accounts, expenses, budgets, and profitability.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
• Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts and supporting documentation.
• Review invoices, purchase bills, expense claims, and payment requests.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team.
