Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead and manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting and taxation and must have prior experience working with a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger scrutiny, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and other financial reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants, auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
• Review GST returns, TDS returns, reconciliations, and related documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting and statutory compliance requirements.
• Conduct bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable and ensure proper accounting controls.
• Assist in budgeting, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Support internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Lead and supervise the accounts team and ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must have prior work experience in a CA Firm / Chartered Accountant Firm.
