Job summary

Commscope in Goa seeks an experienced Manager, Accounts to lead the Accounting function in India. You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close, statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, and financial controls.

This role requires CA qualification, 2–3 years post-qualification experience, and proficiency in SAP ERP and Excel. You will collaborate with regional and global finance teams to drive process improvements and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years post-qualification experience (Fresh CA candidates with strong articleship exposure may also be considered).
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing, taxation, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in month-end closing and audit coordination.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Manager, Accounts to lead the Accounting function based in Goa. This role has overall responsibility for the financial stewardship of the Indian legal entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective management of statutory and tax obligations.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including statutory reporting, external audits, financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and regulatory filings. In addition, the role will provide leadership and oversight for some of the key global accounting activities performed through the Shared Services Centre, including fixed asset and lease accounting, intercompany accounting and reconciliations, and sales incentive compensation accounting and administration.

Working closely with regional and global finance leadership, business stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors, and shared services teams, the incumbent will drive process excellence, strengthen financial controls, ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, and support business growth through timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise, including US GAAP with proven leadership capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
