We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Account Manager to serve as the primary point
of contact for our key clients. You will be responsible for nurturing long-term relationships,
ensuring the seamless delivery of technical projects, and driving revenue growth through new
business pitches.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can translate complex client needs
into actionable briefs for our internal product and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Act as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts.
- Conduct regular face-to-face or virtual check-ins to assess client satisfaction and identify evolving business needs.
2. Project Stewardship & Internal Coordination
- Maintain a real-time pulse on all active "jobs" or projects, ensuring they remain on schedule.
- Lead internal status meetings to provide updates to project managers, developers, and designers.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues before they impact the client.
3. Strategic Communication & Clarity
- Translate vague client requests into clear, technical requirements for the internal team.
- Bridge the gap between "client-speak" and "tech-speak" to ensure the production team has 100% clarity on deliverables.
- Manage client expectations regarding timelines, costs, and technical constraints.
4. Financial Oversight (Billings & Collections)
- Manage the full financial lifecycle of each account, including quoting, invoicing, and tracking payments.
- Monitor collections and follow up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Ensure all billable hours and out-of-scope requests are accurately documented and charged.
5. Business Development & Pitching
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
- Lead new business pitches, from initial research and deck creation to final presentation and conversion.
- Stay updated on industry trends to offer innovative solutions during the sales process.
6. Quality Control & Output Management
- Act as the final "gatekeeper" of work before it reaches the client; ensure all output meets the firms standards and the client's brief.
- Control work quality by reviewing deliverables for accuracy, functionality, and brand alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2-6 years in Account Management, preferably within a tech agency/marketing agencies, etc.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
- Financial Literacy: Comfortable managing budgets, understanding margins, and handling collections.
- Sales Instinct: Growth mindset to pitch and win businesses
