Qualifications

• 5–10 years of accounting experience in jewellery or precious metals industry.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP and GST/VAT regulations.
• Experience in balance sheets, P&L, and cost allocations.
• Knowledge of Taxation Laws, Gold Accounting, and Inventory Valuation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Monitor Average Book Stock Rates for jewellery and raw materials.
• Manage job work process including gold issue/receipt and purity tracking.
• Handle melting process accounting and purity yield records.
• Maintain vendor balances, debit/credit notes and reconciliations.
• Track customer ledgers, inflow records and receivables.
• Report personal accounts, inflow/outflow of funds.
• Perform TDS, GST filings and advance tax payments accurately.
• Maintain Tally ERP knowledge including vouchers, ledgers, and audits.
• Create process documents, SOPs and compliance reports for audits.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements
• Monitor and calculate Average Book Stock Rates for jewellery and raw materials
• Manage the Job work Process, including gold issue/receipt, purity tracking, and reconciliations
• Handle Melting Process Accounting and maintain purity yield records
• Maintain accurate Vendor Balances, including Debit & Credit Notes
• Track and reconcile Customer Ledgers, Inflow Records, and Receivables
• Maintain and report Personal Accounts, including Inflow/Outflow of funds
• Perform TDS Filing, GST Filing, and Advance Tax Payments accurately and on time
• Ensure A to Z working knowledge of Tally ERP, including voucher entries, ledgers, reconciliations, reports, and audit trails
• Create and maintain Process Documentation, SOPs, and compliance reports for internal and statutory audits
• Work closely with management and external auditors to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred
• Experience: 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience in the Jewellery or Precious Metals industry
• Technical Skills:
• Expert in Tally ERP (Full Functionality)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
