Ambition Hunt in Gurugram (Haryana) is seeking an experienced accounting professional to drive end-to-end accounting operations using Zoho Books and strengthen controls.

You will manage payables, receivables, month-end closures, and ensure GST, TDS, and statutory compliance in coordination with auditors, while maintaining timely reporting and audit readiness. The role demands meticulous ledger scrutiny and accurate revenue accounting, with adherence to defined policies.

Role & responsibilities

About the Role

• Drive end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting using Zoho Books.
• Leverage Zoho Books and enhance process efficiency.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, and statutory compliance in coordination with auditors.
• Manage payables, receivables, reconciliations, and month-end closures.
• Strengthen financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Operations

• End-to-end accounting and bookkeeping in Zoho Books.
• Review and posting of expense entries, journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
• Preparation and review of sales invoices and revenue accounting.
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure activities.
• Ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of all balance sheet and P&L items.

2. Compliance & Taxation

• GST reconciliations (GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and input tax credit monitoring.
• Timely filing and compliance of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• TDS deduction, deposit, return filing, and reconciliation.
• Coordination with consultants & auditors.
• Ensuring adherence to defined accounting policies, SOPs, and timelines.

3. Payables & Receivables Management

• Review and processing of vendor payments as per approved policies.
• Vendor ledger reconciliation and resolution of outstanding issues.
• Monitoring customer receivables, collections, and ageing analysis
