Job summary

Biometa Polypack in Gujarat seeks a Finance & Accounts professional to manage day-to-day accounting, record journal entries, invoices, vouchers and payments.

You will handle costing, manufacturing cost monitoring, financial analysis, MIS reports, budgeting, forecasting and cost optimization, and ensure GST/TDS compliance.

The ideal candidate has a B.Com (or related) and 2–5 years in manufacturing finance; MBA Finance or M.Com is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in Finance & Accounts in manufacturing.
• MBA Finance or M.Com preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain books.

Role & responsibilities

Finance & Accounts

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment entries.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.

Costing & Financial Analysis

• Prepare product costing and cost sheets.
• Monitor manufacturing costs and analyze cost variances.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business and management decisions.
• Assist in profitability analysis and cost optimization initiatives.
• Prepare financial forecasts and management reports.

Budgeting & Planning

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial plans.
• Monitor budget utilization and analyze budget variances.
• Support forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Provide financial insights to improve operational efficiency.

Taxation & Compliance

• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and government authorities.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and maintenance of compliance records.
• Support internal and external audits.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA (Finance) or M.Com will be an added advantage.
• 2–5 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
