Job summary

PEI -Genesis Assembly and Distribution Services India Pvt Ltd, Pune, is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive or Account Executive to manage end-to-end accounting, including AP, AR, GST compliance, audits, and banking transactions. Onsite role from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, in a Fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, strong GST/TDS knowledge, and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally) with advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA(Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally).
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliation and MIS analyses.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: invoice booking, payment processing, vendor master data, expenses, intercompany reconciliation.
• Accounts Receivable: invoicing, e-way bill compliance, receipts and bank entries, customer follow-up, account reconciliation.
• GST Compliance: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B preparation, GST reconciliation, ITC analysis, vendor follow-up, RCM work.
• Audit & Compliance: GL schedules, GL reconciliation, fixed asset register, supporting audits.
• Banking & Foreign Transactions: import payments, remittance, export docs, bank coordination.
• General Accounting: day-to-day entries, bank reconciliation, monthly closing and MIS reporting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts professional to manage end-to-end accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST compliance, audits, and banking transactions. The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and compliance knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable (AP)

• Invoice booking and verification as per company policy
• Processing vendor payments and maintaining payment schedules
• Vendor registration and master data management
• Handling employee expenses and reimbursement processing
• Intercompany reconciliation and confirmation

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Customer invoicing and billing
• E-way bill generation and compliance
• Recording customer receipts and bank entries
• Follow-up with customers for outstanding payments
• Customer account reconciliation

3. GST Compliance

• Preparation of monthly GST workings(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
• GST reconciliation(Books vs GSTR-2B)
• Analysis of ITC and mismatch handling
• Follow-up with vendors for non-filing / short filing cases
• RCM working and accounting
• GST treatment for employee reimbursements

4. Audit & Compliance

• Preparation of GL schedules and supporting documents
• GL reconciliation and variance analysis
• Maintaining fixed asset register(CIF Register)
• Supporting internal and statutory audits

5. Banking & Foreign Transactions

• Preparation of import payment documents(A1 & A2, remittance, etc.)
• Handling export documentation and submission
• Coordination with banks for transactions and queries

6. General Accounting

• Day-to-day accounting entries and journal postings
• Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny
• Assisting in monthly closing and MIS reporting
