Job summary

Social Tweebs is seeking a Finance/Accounts professional with a strong core finance background to join the team in Mumbai. You will manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including AR and AP, and ensure accurate books using Tally.

You will reconcile bank and ledger records, prepare basic finance MIS and reports, and coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams on payments and collections. 2–3 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally.
• Good understanding of AR & AP.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Maintain books of accounts using Tally.
• Manage invoices, payment records and financial documentation.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Track receivables, payables and outstanding payments.
• Assist with GST, TDS and other basic statutory compliances.
• Prepare basic finance MIS and reports.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients and internal teams regarding payments and collections.
• Work closely with the CA/Finance consultant on accounting, compliance and audit-related matters.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally.
• Good understanding of AR & AP.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Experience working closely with a CA/Chartered Accountant will be an added advantage.

• We are specifically looking for someone with a strong, hands-on Finance & Accounts background and genuine experience in core finance functions.
• Candidates with primarily administrative, coordination or general operations experience may not be suitable for this role.
