Job summary

Velvin Paper Products in Mumbai seeks an experienced Accountant to manage books, AP/AR, and ensure GST/TDS compliance, with focus on manufacturing costing and audits.

You will prepare financial statements, handle reconciliations, and support budgeting, using ERP—SAP/Tally/Oracle is preferred.

Ideal candidates should have strong accounting standards knowledge, Excel proficiency, and solid coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle) preferred.
• Good understanding of GST and TDS compliance.
• Audit handling experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts, journal entries, and ledger scrutiny
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assist in internal and statutory audits; coordinate with auditors
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and related documentation
• Monitor inventory accounting and costing (preferred in manufacturing setup)
• Support budgeting and variance analysis
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audit trails
