Job summary

Salarpuria Group in Kolkata seeks a GST & Indirect Taxation professional to manage GST compliance, AP/AR processes, and ERP-based reconciliations.

You will prepare GST returns, handle notices, coordinate with auditors, and generate MIS reports, ensuring accurate tax filings and internal controls for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GST and Indirect Taxation.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency with Tally/ERP and Advanced Excel.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
• GST compliance, tax liability computation, and ITC reconciliation.
• Handling GSTR-2A/2B reconciliations and vendor GST follow-ups.
• Managing Accounts Payable (vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations) and Accounts Receivable (customer invoicing, collections tracking, debtor reconciliations).
• Bank reconciliations and support in monthly and yearly closing activities.
• E-Way Bill generation and maintenance of GST records.
• Responding to GST notices and coordinating with auditors and consultants.
• Preparation of MIS reports and support in statutory, internal, and tax audits.
