Job summary

Ikon Infra in Visakhapatnam seeks an accounts professional to manage GST, TDS and general ledger tasks for multiple clients. You will handle GST returns, TDS compliance and financial reporting while coordinating with auditors and clients.

The role demands 3-5 years of GST, Income Tax, and accounting experience, plus strong MS Excel and client communication skills. Long-term growth in a Construction & Infra environment is expected.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA / CWA Inter (appearing or qualified).
• 3-5 years of experience in GST, Income Tax, and accounting.
• Working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of GST returns, ITR filing, and TDS compliance.
• Audit/ROC/compliance exposure preferred.
• Good communication and client interaction skills.
• Willingness to learn in a professional Construction & Infra firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Books of Accounts for multiple clients and ensure accuracy.
• Record Purchase & Sales Invoices; perform bank and vendor reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors and handle financial reporting tasks.
• GST & TDS compliance, including returns and notices.
• Prepare MIS and cash flow reports; manage stock statements.

• Maintain Books of Accounts
• Record Purchase & Sales Invoices
• Bank Reconciliation
• Vendor Reconciliation
• Ledger & Grouping
• Petty Cash Management
• GST
• TDS
• EPF
• ESIC
• Professional Tax
• E-way Bills
• MIS Reports
• Cash Flow Reports

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Periodic review of accounts complete accounts for multiple clients including coordination with clients for data and clarifications
• Ledger scrutiny,and correction of accounting errors.
• Maintaining day transactions record.

GST Compliance:

• Review and filing of:
• GSTR-1
• GSTR-3B
• GSTR-9/ 9C (supporting work)
• GST reconciliation between books and returns
• Handling routine GST notices and departmental communications
• Assistance in GST audits and assessments

TDS Compliance:

• Review and filing of TDS Returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.)
• TDS reconciliation with Form 26AS / TRACESt
• Handling TDS corrections and defaults
• Managing team activities related to GST and TDS compliance .

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA / CWA Inter (appearing or qualified)
• 03- 05 years of experience in GST, Income Tax, and accounting
• Working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel
• Basic understanding of GST returns, ITR filing, and TDS compliance
• Candidates with exposure to audit / ROC / compliance work will be preferred
• Good communication skills and ability to handle client interactions
• Willingness to learn and work in a professional Construction & Infra firm environment
• Must be serious about long-term learning and growth.
