Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and statutory compliances for our IT services organization in Jaipur. The role requires meticulous record keeping and timely reporting.

You will handle GST returns, TDS filings, payroll compliance, and payroll components using Tally ERP and MS Office tools. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential to prepare MIS and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting in Tally ERP.

• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Support monthly and annual closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors during audits and with tax authorities.
• Prepare MIS and management reports.

Programmers.io is seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Accounts Executive to handle accounting operations and statutory compliances for our IT services organization. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in GST, TDS, payroll compliance, and accounting using Tally and MS Office tools.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain day‑to‑day accounting in Tally ERP
• Record vouchers, journal entries, sales & purchase entries
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
• Support monthly and annual closing activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

GST & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑2B reconciliation)
• Generate and manage E‑Way Bills
• Ensure timely compliance and GST payments
• Coordinate with consultants during audits and departmental notices

TDS & Payroll Compliance

• Handle TDS deductions, returns, and challans (24Q, 26Q)
• Generate Form 16 / Form 16A
• Manage payroll-related statutory components:
• EPF
• ESIC
• Gratuity
• NPS
• Meal Wallet / Employee Benefits

Compliance & Coordination

• Ensure statutory compliance as per timelines
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
• Assist in internal and statutory audits

Reporting & Tools

• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
• Prepare MIS and management reports
• Draft official communication using MS Word
