Job summary

Adhyat Solutions in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and GST/TDS compliance. The role requires proficiency in Tally ERP, GST basics, and strong MS Excel skills to support accurate financial reporting.

You will ensure timely vendor payments, coordinate month-end closings, and assist audits and MIS reporting. Prior experience in manufacturing or e-commerce is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and attention to

Qualifications

• GST basics and TDS compliance knowledge is required.
• Bank reconciliation and month-end closing experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and day-to-day general accounting.
• Ensure timely payment to vendors and follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile with books and GSTR-2B.
• Calculate, deduct and deposit TDS, including TDS on employee salaries, and file TDS returns.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in Tally ERP.
• Perform monthly closing activities: journal entries, ledger posting, and bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Support audits, statutory compliance and MIS reporting as needed.

• Strong attention to detail, with good communication and follow-up skills
