Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient bookkeeping and accounting practices
• Experience with GST, TDS, and RERA compliance
• Ability to prepare balance sheets and P/L as per Indian standards
• Exposure to MIS reporting and cash flow management
• Coordination with internal/external auditors and tax authorities

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper books of accounts for the organization
• Handle investment accounting and documentation
• Perform payroll checks and tax calculations
• Process and document accounts payable/receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank, suppliers, and customer ledgers

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining proper books of accounts


• Investment accounting along with its proper documentation


• Payroll checking and its tax working

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process sales and purchase, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.


• Ensure payables and receivables are functioning as per the set protocols and identify the improvement areas.

Reconciliation:

• Bank, Vendors and customer’s ledger reconciliation.


• GST credit and TDS credit reconciliation


• Investment accounting and closing

Financial and other Reporting:

• Balance sheets and profit/loss accounts as per Indian Accounting Standards


• Monthly, quarterly, and annual cash and income MIS


• Fixed assets schedule as per companies act and income tax


• Prepaid schedule

Auditing:

• Coordination with internal and external auditors to provide requirements

Compliance:

• Tax compliances including direct tax, TDS, TCS, GST and RERA


• Compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

Soft Skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines


• Strong ethics to handle sensitive financial information honestly
