• Maintaining proper books of accounts.
• Investment accounting with full documentation.
• Payroll checking and tax processing.
• Process sales and purchases, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Manage payables and receivables per protocols; identify improvements.
• Bank, vendor and customer ledger reconciliations.
• GST, TDS, and other tax credit reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheets and P&L per Indian Accounting Standards.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual cash and income MIS.
• Maintain fixed assets schedule as per company act and income tax.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide requirements.
• Ensure tax compliances including GST, TDS, direct tax; and other filings.
• Adhere to accounting policies and procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong ethics handling sensitive financial information.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining proper books of accounts


• Investment accounting along with its proper documentation


• Payroll checking and its tax working

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process sales and purchase, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.


• Ensure payables and receivables are functioning as per the set protocols and identify the improvement areas.

Reconciliation:

• Bank, Vendors and customer’s ledger reconciliation.


• GST credit and TDS credit reconciliation


• Investment accounting and closing

Financial and other Reporting:

• Balance sheets and profit/loss accounts as per Indian Accounting Standards


• Monthly, quarterly, and annual cash and income MIS


• Fixed assets schedule as per companies act and income tax


• Prepaid schedule

Auditing:

• Coordination with internal and external auditors to provide requirements

Compliance:

• Tax compliances including direct tax, TDS, TCS, GST and RERA


• Compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

Soft Skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines


• Strong ethics to handle sensitive financial information honestly


• Communication and presentation abilities
