Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an accounting professional to manage books, investment accounting, payroll tax checks, and end-to-end financial transactions in a Delhi-based setup.

The role covers AP/AR processing, ledger reconciliations, tax compliances (GST, TDS, etc.), and coordination with auditors to ensure accurate reporting in line with Indian Accounting Standards. Strong ethics and ability to work under pressure are valued traits.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining proper books of accounts


• Investment accounting along with its proper documentation


• Payroll checking and its tax working

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process sales and purchase, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.


• Ensure payables and receivables are functioning as per the set protocols and identify the improvement areas.

Reconciliation:

• Bank, Vendors and customer’s ledger reconciliation.


• GST credit and TDS credit reconciliation


• Investment accounting and closing

Financial and other Reporting:

• Balance sheets and profit/loss accounts as per Indian Accounting Standards


• Monthly, quarterly, and annual cash and income MIS


• Fixed assets schedule as per companies act and income tax


• Prepaid schedule

Auditing:

• Coordination with internal and external auditors to provide requirements

Compliance:

• Tax compliances including direct tax, TDS, TCS, GST and RERA


• Compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

Soft Skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines


• Strong ethics to handle sensitive financial information honestly


• Communication and presentation abilities
