Job summary

DNV Group in India is seeking a finance professional to maintain governance, manage invoicing, and support month-end closing. You will handle sub-contractor POs, align iI2 with Oracle, and collaborate with the country team to ensure accurate project setup.

The role includes assisting audit/tax queries and driving day-to-day process improvements within the Inspection business unit.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in financial governance, invoicing, or project controlling is desirable.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP and data integration concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate financial governance per DNV Inspection policies and procedures.
• Handle customer invoicing and ensure timely collection of AR balances.
• Create purchase orders for sub-contractors and match with supplier invoices.
• Gain hands-on experience with Oracle Project Controlling modules and iI2 integration.
• Work with the Country team to set up and maintain projects in iI2.
• Align iI2 data with Oracle to ensure smooth integration and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare month-end WIP accruals and support the month-end close.
• Liaise with Global Shared Services on BA procedures to ensure proper closing.
• Assist with audit/tax-related queries and drive process improvements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. General:

• To maintain and co-ordinate financial governance per DNV Inspection business policies & procedures

1. Project Controlling:

• To perform customer invoicing and ensure timely collection of AR balances
• To create PO for sub-contractors and perform the subsequent matching with the relevant supplier invoices
• To acquire hands-on experience on Project Controlling & the related modules in Oracle and fully understand their integration with Inspection Production Tool (iI2)
• To work closely with the Country team to ensure accurate set-up and maintenance of projects in iI2
• To align iI2 data with Oracle for successful integration and trouble shoot issues relating to integration

1. Monthly Closing:

• To prepare month end Work-in-Progress (WIP) for accrual
• Liaise with GSS (Global Shared Services) team on all BA (Business Area) related procedures to ensure proper closing process
• Support the project review for the month end close

1. Ad-hoc/ Ancillary:

• Assist in responding to queries on audit or tax related issues
• Improvement in day-to-day operation process
• Any other jobs assigned by the Management from time to time
