Job summary

DNV is seeking a Lead Auditor - ICT for its MSC service line. The role covers Quality, Information Security, and Service Management Systems. Preference for qualified auditors; strong background welcomed for development into the role.

Must have substantial IT security and auditing experience, with a focus on ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, and ISO 20000-1. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related discipline is required.
• 10+ years IT experience with strong information security background.
• Experience with management systems and auditing.
• Professional certifications such as CISA/CISM/CISSP are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform third‑party ICT audits and deliver findings to clients.
• Review corrective actions and verify closure of nonconformities.
• Provide reports on conformity and effectiveness of management systems.
• Plan, manage and maintain audit schedules and client relations.

About The Role

DNV is seeking a Lead Auditor - ICT for its Management System Certification (MSC) service line. We are looking for professionals with expertise in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), Information Security Management Systems (ISO/IEC 27001), and Service Management Systems (ISO 20000-1). While preference will be given to already qualified auditors, we are also open to candidates with a strong and relevant background who can develop into the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform third-party audits and deliver training in accordance with:
  • ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management Systems)
  • ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems)
  • ISO 20000-1 (Service Management Systems)
  • ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management Systems)
  • ISO 42001 (Artificial Intelligence Management Systems)
  • TISAX
  • Other ICT-related standards, frameworks, and schemes
• Provide timely and accurate reviews of clients' corrective actions and verify the effective closure of nonconformities.
• Provide customers with timely, complete, and accurate reports on their current level of conformity and the implementation effectiveness of their management systems.
• Plan, manage, and maintain audit schedules and related activities with Management System Certification clients.
• Maintain appropriate auditor qualifications and credentials and actively pursue the advancement of existing credentials and acquisition of additional relevant qualifications as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements, certification rules, and all applicable internal and external requirements.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. A higher-level qualification is preferred.
• 10+ years of overall experience in Information Technology, Management System implementation, certification, auditing, or related fields, including a minimum of 4 years of substantial experience in Information Security.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a positive and professional attitude.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of management systems, information security, IT service management, governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Good understanding of relevant regulations, industry standards, best practices, and methodologies, including ITIL Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, SOX, COSO, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, FFIEC, and GLBA, with the ability to apply these requirements to organizational governance, risk, compliance, and internal control frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CISA, CISM, CISSP, MCSE, MCSA, and/or an MBA (or equivalent postgraduate qualification) are highly desirable.
