Job summary

Career Launcher Bhopal is seeking an energetic Academic Counsellor to engage with prospective students and parents through face-to-face, telephonic, and virtual sessions. You will assess goals and recommend CLAT, CAT, IPMAT programs and related courses to suit each learner's path.

The role emphasizes building trust, maintaining detailed CRM records, coordinating demo classes, and driving enrollments with a target-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of proven experience in Academic Counselling, Course Sales, Admission Counselling, or Inside Sales (EdTech, Test-Prep, or Higher Education)
• Basic awareness of entrance exams like CAT, CLAT, IPMAT, or CUET is a strong plus
• Excellent verbal and written English communication along with fluency in the regional language
• Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, consultative selling approach, and target-driven mindset
• Hands-on experience working with CRMs, Excel, and lead management software

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face, telephonic, and virtual counselling sessions with prospective students and parents.
• Assess student goals and recommend suitable Career Launcher classroom, online, or test-series programs for CLAT, CAT, IPMAT, and related exams.
• Handle end-to-end lead conversion—from initial inquiry and demo class scheduling to follow-ups and final fee enrollment.
• Maintain a high conversion rate on assigned leads generated via walk-ins, digital marketing, website inquiries, and outreach campaigns.
• Build strong relationships with prospective students and parents by providing clear, honest, and expert guidance regarding exam patterns, career scopes, and top colleges.
• Utilize CRM tools to log inquiries, update student interaction records, track lead statuses, and manage follow-up pipelines.
• Collaborate with center academic heads and faculty to coordinate demo classes, workshop participation, and mock test events.
