Job summary

Maditx is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 5+ years of hands-on SAP development, customization, and support. The role focuses on ABAP programming, debugging, enhancements, forms, interfaces, and integration with SAP modules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in implementation and support projects.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and SAP Fiori integration is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions within the SAP landscape.
• Design and develop interfaces between SAP and third-party systems.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Work with Functional Consultants to implement business requirements.
• Support data migration activities using LSMW and custom programs.
• Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and unit test cases.
• Provide production support and resolve SAP-related technical issues.
• Participate in end-to-end implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP development, customization, and support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP programming, debugging, enhancements, forms, interfaces, and integration with SAP modules. Experience in implementation and support projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions within the SAP landscape.
• Develop and support:
  • Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV)
  • Dialog Programming
  • SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms
  • BDC, BAPI, RFC, IDoc, ALE
  • User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework
• Design and develop interfaces between SAP and third-party systems.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Work closely with Functional Consultants (FICO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) to understand and implement business requirements.
• Support data migration activities using LSMW and custom programs.
• Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and unit test cases.
• Provide production support and resolve SAP-related technical issues.
• Participate in end-to-end implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expertise in:
  • Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF Objects)
  • ALV Reports (OO ALV preferred)
  • BAPI, RFC, IDoc, ALE
  • SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms
  • Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs
  • Module Pool Programming
  • Data Dictionary Objects
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and SAP Fiori integration is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of SAP functional modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, or HCM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in at least 2 End-to-End SAP Implementation Projects.
• Experience in Support and Enhancement Projects.
• SAP Certification will be an added advantage.
