Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer in Gurugram to design, develop, test, and implement ABAP objects. You will work on reports, enhancements, and interfaces using RFC, BAPI, IDOC, and web services, and contribute to S/4HANA implementation projects.

Ideal candidates will have strong ABAP experience, knowledge of data dictionary, and exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5. Join a dynamic team in a technology-driven environment and contribute to performance tuning and data

Qualifications

• Must have deep SAP ABAP expertise with hands-on development in SAP environments.
• Proficiency in ABAP reports, interfaces, and data dictionary objects.
• Experience with S/4HANA, CDS views, and Fiori/UI5 exposure is a plus.
• Familiarity with LSMW/BDC for data migrations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP objects.
• Develop and support:
• Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV)
• Enhancements (User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI, Enhancement Framework)
• Data Dictionary Objects
• Build and support interfaces using:
• BAPI
• RFC
• IDOC
• Web Services
• OData Services
• Work closely with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Develop custom programs, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
• Support data migration activities using LSMW, BDC, and other SAP tools.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and support projects.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
• Prepare technical design documents, unit test cases, and deployment documentation.
