Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our SAP technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development, enhancement, customization, and support of SAP applications across SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments. The role requires strong expertise in ABAP development, system integration, technical design, and problem‑solving, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF Objects).
• Create and maintain technical specifications, functional design documents, and development standards.
• Develop custom reports using Classical Reports, Interactive Reports, ALV Reports, and SAP Query.
• Build and support interfaces using IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, APIs, and middleware integrations.
• Develop and optimize data migration and conversion programs using BDC, LSMW, and SAP Migration tools.
• Work on enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements.
• Develop and maintain SAP Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, and output management solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs, database operations, and custom developments.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution for incidents and service requests.
• Support SAP upgrades, migrations, system enhancements, and S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security requirements, and best development practices.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills Required

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP development with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in ABAP Programming including Reports, Module Pool Programming, Function Modules, and Dialog Programming.
• Experience with Data Dictionary objects such as Tables, Views, Structures, and Search Helps.
• Strong knowledge of ALV Reports, Classical Reports, and Interactive Reports.
• Hands‑on experience with BAPI, RFC, IDOC, ALE, and Web Services.
