Job summary

Infosys Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).

You will work on ALV reports, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, OData services, IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, and UI5/Fiori integrations, with performance tuning and debugging as core duties.

Collaboration with functional consultants and support for migrations and rollouts completes the profile.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming across reports, dialogs, and forms.
• Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, and web services; knowledge of DDIC.
• Exposure to S/4HANA with CDS views; debugging and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with SAP integration tools and Agile project practices.

Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) Develop and enhance Reports (ALV), Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts Work on User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements, and Implicit Enhancements Develop interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData services Perform performance tuning using tools like SQL Trace (ST05), Runtime Analysis (SE30) Debug and resolve technical issues across SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.) Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions Work on data migration and conversion tools (LSMW, BDC) Support implementation, rollout, and support projects Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality, and documentation

Required Skills Strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming Hands-on experience with: Reports, Dialog Programming, ALV Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework) Experience in IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, Web Services, OData Good understanding of SAP data dictionary (DDIC) Experience in performance tuning and optimization techniques Exposure to S/4HANA environment (CDS views, AMDP is a plus) Knowledge of debugging, troubleshooting, and code optimization
