Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to shape digital manufacturing workflows. You will create and maintain MBOMs in DELMIA on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, transform EBOM to MBOM, and develop Process Views that capture operations, sequences, and resource allocation.

You will collaborate across design, manufacturing engineering, and production teams to validate readiness, manage engineering changes, ensure traceability, and deliver planning documents.

Qualifications

• Graduation or Diploma in Engineering or AME preferred.
• Hands-on DELMIA/3DEXPERIENCE tools experience is required.
• Knowledge of MBOM creation and process planning is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain MBOM using DELMIA in 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Convert EBOM to MBOM structures.
• Create and manage Process Views for manufacturing operations.
• Perform WORKPREP activities and allocate resources.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to validate readiness.
• Analyze engineering changes and update MBOM/Process Views.
• Ensure traceability between EBOM, MBOM, processes, and resources.
• Generate manufacturing documentation and reports.
• Support NPI, ECM, and continuous improvement.

Job description

• Prepare and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) using DELMIA applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform
• Convert Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM) into manufacturing-ready MBOM structures
• Create and manage Process Views representing manufacturing operations, assembly sequences, and production workflows
• Perform WORKPREP activities, including manufacturing structure preparation, process planning, and manufacturing resource assignment
• Associate manufacturing operations with parts, assemblies, tools, work centers, and production resources
• Define manufacturing sequences, operation dependencies, and process hierarchies
• Collaborate with product design, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, and production teams to validate manufacturing readiness
• Analyze engineering changes and update MBOM and Process Views to reflect the latest product configurations
• Ensure traceability between EBOM, MBOM, manufacturing processes, and production resources
• Validate manufacturing data for completeness, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards
• Generate manufacturing documentation, reports, and process planning deliverables
• Support new product introduction (NPI), engineering change management (ECM), and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Any Graduation / Diploma in Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), or an equivalent technical qualification is preferred
• Hands‑on experience with 3DEXPERIENCE DELMIA and WORKPREP applications
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) creation and management
• Experience preparing and maintaining Process Views for manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of manufacturing process planning, assembly sequencing, and resource allocation
• Understanding of EBOM-to-MBOM transformation methodologies
• Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, production planning, and industrial engineering concepts
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, product structures, and assembly documentation
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
• Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE DELMIA
• Experience with DELMIA Process Engineering, DELMIA WORKPREP, ENOVIA, PLM systems, Assembly Process Planning, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries is desired
• Experience with digital manufacturing and PLM‑driven manufacturing engineering processes
• Familiarity with engineering change management and product lifecycle management (PLM) practices
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
• Lead / Senior Manufacturing Engineer: 4-8 years of relevant experience
• Manufacturing Engineer: 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the aerospace or aerostructure industry is an added advantage
• Experience with CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) is an added advantage
