Job summary

Expleo in Bengaluru, India seeks a manufacturing engineer to advance aerospace MBOM/EBOM transformations and process views on the DELMIA platform.

You will collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturing readiness, continuous improvement, and data integrity across PLM workflows.

Graduation or Diploma in Engineering (AME preferred) and hands-on DELMIA experience are required; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation or diploma in engineering or AME preferred.
• Hands-on DELMIA 3DEXPERIENCE experience required.
• MBOM/EBOM knowledge for manufacturing readiness.
• Experience with process planning and production sequencing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and product structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MBOM using DELMIA on 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Convert EBOM to manufacturing-ready MBOM structures.
• Create and manage Process Views for operations and workflows.
• Perform WORKPREP activities including process planning.
• Link operations to parts, assemblies, tools, and resources.
• Define sequences, dependencies, and hierarchies.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing engineering, and production.
• Update MBOM/Process Views with latest configurations.
• Ensure traceability and compliance of manufacturing data.

3DX Work Preparation Engineer

Responsibilities

Functions to develop:

• Prepare and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) using DELMIA applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Convert Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM) into manufacturing-ready MBOM structures while ensuring product and process consistency.
• Create and manage Process Views representing manufacturing operations, assembly sequences, and production workflows.
• Perform WORKPREP activities, including manufacturing structure preparation, process planning, and manufacturing resource assignment.
• Associate manufacturing operations with parts, assemblies, tools, work centers, and production resources.
• Define manufacturing sequences, operation dependencies, and process hierarchies.
• Collaborate with product design, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, and production teams to validate manufacturing readiness.
• Analyze engineering changes and update MBOM and Process Views to reflect the latest product configurations.
• Ensure traceability between EBOM, MBOM, manufacturing processes, and production resources.
• Validate manufacturing data for completeness, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Generate manufacturing documentation, reports, and process planning deliverables.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), engineering change management (ECM), and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Any Graduation / Diploma in Engineering / Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), or an equivalent technical qualification is preferred.

Essential skills

• Hands-on experience with 3DEXPERIENCE DELMIA and WORKPREP applications.
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) creation and management.
• Experience preparing and maintaining Process Views for manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process planning, assembly sequencing, and resource allocation.
• Understanding of EBOM-to-MBOM transformation methodologies.
• Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, production planning, and industrial engineering concepts.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, product structures, and assembly documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
