Job summary

EXA Infrastructure seeks a Lead IT Systems Architect to steer architecture strategy and roadmap across the company, including AI initiatives. You will engage business stakeholders, design scalable solutions, and guide technology evolution in a telco-rich environment.

This hybrid role (office presence and remote work) requires hands-on multi-platform expertise and strong collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Job description

Role Purpose

As one of the Leads of IT Systems Architecture, you will play a crucial role within the systems team (and wider across the company), contributing to the evolution of EXA Infrastructure’s Systems Architecture roadmap and strategy, including the development and implementation of EXA Infrastructure’s Architecture and AI roadmap.. Your responsibilities will include the support of technology selection, business stakeholder engagement, development of designs and solutions that help realize the architectural roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Providing specialized technology leadership in a wide area across the entire IT landscape across BSS/OSS/Network/Finance/Corporate systems to provide e2e leadership
• Providing architecture, design and implementation leadership and expertise in the above areas.
• Designing new solutions, integrations, process enhancements and improvements to availability and resilience of the IT infrastructure landscape.
• Provide support to the Head of Architecture on technology evolution based on business needs and the emergence of new technologies BSS/OSS/Finance/Corporate systems, specifically in the context of AI
• Provide guidance and adherence to internal teams and to product /service vendors
• Work with the business stakeholders across all functions to help with systems transformation, optimization and evolution.
• Interact with technology vendors (SaaS and other product / technology vendors) to continuously ensure the right selection of technology.
• Interact with Systems Integrators to select the right integration partners
• Engage with CISO to provide input to cybersecurity strategy and to ensure agreed policies are implemented
• Engage with Application leads to ensure the required capabilities are planned and rolled out to support business needs

Individual Profile

• Good years of experience in IT Infrastructure, across BSS/OSS/ ERP/Corporate systems
• Proven experience as an enterprise architect, with experience in having worked within a telco environment
• Should have a blend of strategic, architectural, operational and execution (hands-on) capabilities
• Hand-on experience and multi-skilled across multiple platforms
• Ability to evaluate technologies at scale, in the context of the landscape of the business and EXA Infrastructure’s scale and context
• Experience in implementing telco processes for O2C, T2R, Plan and Build to drive continuous process transformation
• Experience with AI technologies, and approaches to prioritise and build and implement an AI roadmap for EXA Infrastructure.
• Strong stakeholder engagement stills, ability to understand EXA Infrastructure’s network domain, products, services, processes
• Strong industry, technology and vendor engagement skills, to ensure the right technologies and implementation partners are being constantly engaged
• Ability collaborate with the wider IT team as this is a very critical skill
