Job summary

SharpStakes is seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D Game Artist to join our growing Game Development team as we expand into iGaming and slot gaming. You will design high-quality 2D artwork for slot games, build interfaces, and craft assets that define the look of our titles.

The role requires strong illustration skills, familiarity with slot symbols/UI, and the ability to work remotely with a multicultural team. A strong online portfolio is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2D game art, digital illustration, or game asset creation.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar digital art software.
• Strong illustration skills across characters, environments, and asset creation.
• Experience in iGaming, slot game studios, or casino game development is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with designing slot game symbols, characters, backgrounds, and user interfaces is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, composition, perspective, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to adapt to different artistic styles, themes, and creative directions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished, production-ready artwork.
• Good English communication, remote-friendly, multicultural collaboration.
• Strong online portfolio showcasing relevant 2D game artwork, illustrations, or slot game projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop original concepts, sketches, and polished illustrations based on creative briefs and project requirements.

• Collaborate with the Game Development team to ensure artwork meets creative and technical requirements.
• Revise and refine artwork based on feedback and creative direction.
• Organize and deliver completed artwork in the required file formats within agreed timelines.
