Job summary

NewSpace Research and Technologies is seeking a talented 2D Game Artist to join our creative team in Dadri, India. The role focuses on Game UI/UX, concept art, and visual development for immersive game experiences.

You will design UI elements, create concept art for environments and characters, and collaborate with designers and developers to ensure production-ready visuals and a cohesive art direction across projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Figma.
• Strong understanding of Game UI/UX and visual design principles.
• 2D illustration and concept-art skills.

Responsibilities

• Design Game UI/UX, including HUDs, menus, screens, icons, buttons, and other interactive elements.
• Create concept art for environments, characters, props, vehicles, and game assets.
• Develop visual concepts for new games, gameplay mechanics, features, and experiences.
• Create wireframes, moodboards, style explorations, and visual presentations.
• Translate ideas and gameplay requirements into clear and engaging visual designs.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
• Maintain consistency in visual style and contribute to the overall art direction of projects.

We are looking for a talented and versatile 2D Game Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Game UI/UX and Concept Art , with the ability to visually explore ideas and contribute to the development of new game concepts.

You will work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to create engaging visual experiences — from early concepts and visual exploration to polished game UI and artwork.

Key Responsibilities

Design Game UI/UX , including HUDs, menus, screens, icons, buttons, and other interactive elements.

Create concept art for environments, characters, props, vehicles, and game assets.

Develop visual concepts for new games, gameplay mechanics, features, and experiences .

Create wireframes, moodboards, style explorations, and visual presentations.

Translate ideas and gameplay requirements into clear and engaging visual designs.

Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.

Maintain consistency in visual style and contribute to the overall art direction of projects.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Figma .

Strong understanding of Game UI/UX and visual design principles .

2D illustration and concept-art skills.

Ability to design environments, props, characters, and other game elements .

Ability to develop and visually communicate game concepts and ideas .

Good understanding of composition, colour, typography, and visual hierarchy.

Additional Skills – Plus

Basic working knowledge of Blender and 3D workflows .

Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or After Effects .

UI animation, or video editing experience.

Basic knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine .
