Role Description

We are looking for an experienced 2D Artist. Your job will be to create concepts, 2D game art including UI, visually captivating and engaging animated assets. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the gaming industry while working with a talented team of professionals. This is a full‑time, work‑from‑office role located in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Ideation: Collaborate with the art and tech art team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that align with the game's branding and target audience.
• Create Visual Assets: Create eye‑catching visual art and 2D game assets including game elements, backgrounds, UI, props, visual effects, character animations for games.
• Video Editing: Assist in video production by editing gameplay footage, trailers, and promotional and marketing videos to showcase the game's features and appeal to potential players.
• Asset Optimization: Optimize and adapt visual assets for various platforms and screen sizes to ensure consistent and high‑quality user experiences.
• Feedback Incorporation: Receive and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to continually improve the quality and impact of art assets created.

Skills Required

• 3–4 years of experience as a 2D Game Artist within the casual mobile gaming industry.
• Strong command over Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, for creating high‑quality game art assets.
• Deep understanding of the workflow involved in developing, preparing, and integrating 2D assets into casual mobile games.
• Working knowledge of animation tools such as Spine, with the ability to create smooth and engaging animations for characters and UI elements.
• Basic familiarity with editing and optimizing video audio/sound files for use in digital content.
• Exposure to 3D modeling and animation software like Maya or Blender is an added advantage.
• Strong artistic flair with the ability to ideate and execute fresh, innovative, and engaging visual concepts.
• Commitment to high‑quality output, ensuring all art assets are polished, consistent, and error‑free.
• Quick learner with the flexibility to evolve in a dynamic and fast‑paced game development environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Genuine enthusiasm for mobile casual games and a solid understanding of current gaming trends and player expectations.
• Portfolio: A well‑organized portfolio demonstrating your skills in 2D game art, animation, and UI design is highly recommended.
