Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced 3D Engineer to design and maintain 3D plant models, piping layouts, and related drawings for process plant projects in Pune.

The role requires hands-on 3–5 years of experience with Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, or AVEVA PDMS, and proficiency in AutoCAD. The candidate will interpret P&IDs, ensure models meet industry standards, and collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to deliver accurate, clash-free plant designs for Oil & Gas,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in plant design and 3D modelling.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD.
• Strong experience in Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, or AVEVA PDMS.
• Experience in 3D plant modelling, piping layouts, equipment and structural modelling, isometrics and GA drawings.
• Good understanding of P&IDs and piping design standards.
• Experience with clash detection and 3D model review.
• Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / Process Plant projects.

Responsibilities

Job Title: 3D Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a 3D Engineer with 3 5 years of hands-on experience in Plant Design and 3D Modelling. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining 3D plant models, piping layouts, equipment and structural models, as well as generating isometric and GA drawings for process plant projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D plant models using Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, or AVEVA PDMS.
• Create and modify piping layouts, equipment models, and structural models.
• Prepare and extract piping isometric drawings and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Interpret and work with P&IDs and piping design requirements.
• Ensure 3D models comply with applicable piping and plant design standards.
• Perform model reviews and clash detection to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Coordinate with piping, mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines.

Mandatory Technical Skills
