Job summary

HellaGoodAudio is seeking a skilled 2D Artist in India to create game art assets such as characters, environments, icons, and UI elements, aligning with the project’s visual style. The role requires strong illustration and digital painting skills and a portfolio showcasing 2D game art.

You will collaborate with designers and developers to integrate assets, adapt to multiple art styles, and ensure assets are optimized for performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Game Art, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
• Strong illustration and digital painting skills with good color, composition.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, or Procreate.
• Knowledge of animation basics and sprite sheet creation is a plus.
• Ability to work in various art styles (realistic, stylized, cartoon, pixel).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Strong communication and a well-organized art portfolio.
