Job summary

PlaySimple Games in Bangalore, India, is seeking a Game Artist to join our fast-growing mobile games team. The role focuses on In-Game art and UI, creating visually engaging assets and ensuring readability and UX across assets and HUDs, while contributing to 2D game art in line with the artistic direction.

You will collaborate with designers and developers to maintain a consistent visual style, produce wireframes and mockups, and assist marketing with promotional art.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Game Artist, UI Artist, or similar role in the mobile gaming industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing Game UI design and various styles of game art skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma.
• Understanding of mobile game design principles, including accessibility and usability best practices.
• Knowledge of design principles like composition, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to create both stylized and realistic game assets, depending on the project needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for mobile games and an understanding of current market trends.
