You will design, configure, and troubleshoot complex L3 infrastructure, support incidents, and mentor junior engineers, while collaborating with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot L3 network infrastructure.
• Provide L3 support for complex network incidents and escalations.
• Configure and troubleshoot switching and routing protocols (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP).
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, NAT, and security issues.
• Work on Load Balancers, NAC, SD-WAN, and Azure networking.
• Perform root-cause analysis for outages and issues.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and security.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on changes and upgrades.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers.

We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and network security. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Load Balancers, NAC, SD-WAN, and Azure networking and be capable of handling complex L3 network issues and escalations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot L3 enterprise network infrastructure.
• Provide L3 support for complex network incidents, problems, and escalations.
• Configure and troubleshoot switching and routing protocols including VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, and related technologies.
• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, security policies, VPNs, NAT, and network security issues.
• Work on Load Balancers, including configuration, traffic management, health checks, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and support Network Access Control (NAC) solutions and troubleshoot authentication/access-related issues.
• Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN environments, including connectivity, policies, routing, and performance issues.
• Work on Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, VPN/ExpressRoute, and connectivity between on-premise and Azure environments.
• Perform root-cause analysis for complex network outages and recurring issues.
• Monitor network performance, capacity, availability, and security.
• Participate in network changes, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Coordinate with security, cloud, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Mentor L1/L2 network engineers and provide technical guidance on complex issues.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Switching & Routing.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, DHCP, DNS, NAT and VPN.
• Strong experience with Enterprise Firewalls.
• Hands‑on experience with Load Balancers.
• Experience with NAC / Network Access Control solutions.
• Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with SD-WAN technologies.
• Good experience with Microsoft Azure Networking.
• Experience troubleshooting on-premise, cloud, and hybrid network environments.
• Strong understanding of network security principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with network technologies/products from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Aruba, VMware/VeloCloud or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, PCNSE, NSE/FCP, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Experience

• 9–12 years of overall experience in Network Engineering, with significant experience in L3/network infrastructure support.
• Candidates should have strong hands‑on experience across Routing, Switching, Firewall, Load Balancer, NAC, SD-WAN, and Azure.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle critical production issues.
• Strong ownership and incident management skills.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment, including rotational shifts/on‑call support, if required.
