Job summary

Softcell Technologies in Mumbai is seeking a Network Support Engineer- L3 (Not Network Security Engineer) with 7+ years of experience in Enterprise/Data Center LAN & WAN solutions. CCNA/CCNP or higher certification is required.

The role requires deep understanding of OSI/TCP-IP with IPv4/IPv6, L2/L3 protocols including BGP, capacity planning, and ability to design/offer suitable network solutions. Willingness to work in NOC or 24x7 environments and strong communication and documentation skills

Qualifications

• Graduation in technical stream (BE , Btech, BSC , MSC , 3 Years full time diploma in technical education / polytechnic in Electronics / IT / Computer science etc.)
• CCNA / CCNP or higher network certification required.
• 7+ years of work experience in Enterprise or Data Center LAN & WAN solutions (ISP / Telecom sector not preferred).
• Minimum 7 years work experience in Switching & Routing implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement workflows for NOC operations.
• Perform debug level troubleshooting and prepare Incident Reports & RCA.
• Take ownership to manage incidents & resolutions within SLA.
• Design and provide suitable solutions based on technical requirements.
• Maintain ISO/ISMS standards and process adherence.

Ability to define and implement work flows / process / Automation for NOC operations.

Familiar with ISO / ISMS standards and process.

Ability to perform debug level troubleshooting, prepare Incident Reports & Technical RCA Take full ownership to manage the incident & resolution within the service level conditions Ability to prioritize and multitask , Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry leading technical knowledge
