Job summary
A growing Irish business is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Clonee. This permanent role offers the chance to gain a thorough understanding of finance operations and grow within the company. Responsibilities include accounts receivable, payable, and assisting with month end closes. Ideal for candidates with a minimum of 2 years' account experience and strong attention to detail. Salary ranges from €30k to €40k pro rata, with 4-5 mornings in the office.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years account experience.
- Willing to perform varied finance duties as required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customer invoices and process incoming payments.
- Match invoices to accruals and handle supplier reconciliations.
- Assist in month end close and prepare VAT returns.

Our client, a fast growing Irish business is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis based in Clonee.
This is an excellent role for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Part Qualified Accountant whom will gain a thorough understanding of the business with the opportunity to grow.
4-5 mornings in the office. Salary €30k-€40k pro rata.

- Accounts receivable duties including preparing customer invoices, processing and monitoring incoming payments, dealing with customer queries etc.
- Accounts payable duties including matching invoices to accruals, supplier reconciliations, monthly payment run, dealing with supplier queries etc.
- Reconciling bank, debtors, and creditors
- Assist in month end close
- Preparation of annual audit files.
- Posting all relevant journals.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Ad hoc duties on request.
- Minimum 2 years account experience
- Good initiative and strong attention to detail
- Willing to varied finance duties as required
