Job summary

A leading global tech company is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Site Reliability Engineering to enhance the reliability and scalability of production networks. The role requires extensive experience in software development, distributed systems, and an ability to collaborate across teams. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's in Computer Science and have significant software engineering experience. This position is located in Dublin, Ireland.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • 3 years of experience leading projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and safely introduce new products and features to data centers and WAN networks.
  • Drive strategic efforts to improve mean time to detect (MTTD) and mitigation (MTTM) for incidents.
  • Respond to network outages or user-impacting events and root-cause analysis (RCA) requests.
