Job summary

TJ O' Mahony in Navan, Co Meath, is seeking a full-time Yard Operative to maintain the yard, load/unload deliveries and assist customers with loading their vehicles. The role requires a Forklift License and a full Clean Driving Licence, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.

You will work closely with the Warehouse and Trade Counter teams, ensure stock is stored safely, and help with goods-in and stock control while upholding health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking and putting away stock.
• Picking and preparing customer orders for collection or delivery.
• Moving and stacking building materials around the yard.
• Assisting customers with loading their vehicles.
• Operating forklifts and other yard equipment where qualified.
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy and well organised.
• Checking stock and reporting damaged or missing goods.
• Assisting with goods-in and stock control.
• Ensuring materials are stored safely and securely.
• Following all company Health & Safety procedures.
• Working closely with the Warehouse and Trade Counter teams.
• Providing good customer service to customers and delivery drivers.
• Carrying out general yard duties as required by the Branch Manager.

Yard Operative. Maintain the yard to a high standard and operate yard machinery.
