Salesforce, Inc. is seeking an experienced Workday techno-functional Systems Engineer to design and deliver scalable solutions across Absence and Time Tracking.

You will join the Global Employee Success organization, translating business needs into precise requirements, configuration designs, test strategies, and production solutions. The role demands hands-on configuration, strong payroll and HCM understanding, and the ability to lead complex features and releases with post‑production

Qualifications

• 5+ years configuring Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
• Deep payroll awareness: time/absence impact on gross‑to‑net.
• Translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations.
• Experience leading testing, UAT and deployments.
• Strong communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Workday Absence and Time Tracking as technical owner.
• Lead requirements sessions with PM, Payroll, HR Ops and Benefits.
• Translate use cases into functional requirements and tests.
• Design and test time-off plans, accruals and eligibility rules.
• Coordinate release impact assessments and post‑deployment validation.
