Job summary

ELLIOTT MOSS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Workday Application Engineer to support configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of Workday HCM.

You will work with stakeholders to understand requirements, implement enhancements, and ensure smooth delivery of Workday solutions. Responsibilities include analysis, configuration, reporting, testing, and production support, with a focus on data integrity, security, and governance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday HCM experience in an application support, consulting, engineering, or analyst role.
• Strong experience with Workday configuration and reporting.
• Good understanding of HR business processes and the employee lifecycle.
• Experience with Workday business processes, calculated fields, security, and reporting.
• Experience supporting application enhancements, troubleshooting, testing, and production support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Good understanding of data and reporting concepts.
• Exposure to Workday integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and application requirements and translate them into appropriate Workday solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday HCM applications based on business requirements.
• Support Workday reporting, data, and analytics requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other Workday reporting solutions.
• Support Workday business processes, calculated fields, security, and related configuration.
• Manage application requests through requirement gathering, impact assessment, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot Workday application, reporting, and data issues and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and support UAT.
• Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, and test scripts.
• Support Workday releases, enhancements, migrations, and production deployments.
• Work with technical and integration teams on Workday data and integration requirements.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide recommendations, and manage expectations.
• Track application requests, defects, enhancements, and resolution progress.
• Follow established application governance, security, change management, and deployment processes.

We are seeking a Workday Application Engineer to support the configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and ongoing support of Workday HCM applications. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, implement system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth delivery of Workday solutions.

• Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as SQL, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large or global enterprise environments is preferred.
• Workday HCM certification.
