Job summary

Centra in Ireland is seeking a weekend supervisor to keep the store running efficiently and to deliver our customer service and fresh food standards in a clean, safe environment.

You will help meet sales and profitability targets by guiding the team, balancing tills, and using Excel to track KPIs. This is a full-time role with weekend duties, reflecting relevant experience and brand values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service facing role.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Experience balancing cash/tills
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic
• An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
• Commerciality and brand awareness
• Passion for grocery retail
• The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure
• The ability to organise work, delegate responsibilities and support team members in the store

Responsibilities

• Actively live Centra brand-values: Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community-Based; lead by example and encourage teamwork.
• Liaise with weekday management on changes to layouts and ensure changes are implemented.
• Set the standard for rotation, merchandising and facing off.
• Assist in induction, training and development of employees.
• Deal with customer queries efficiently, professionally and consistent with store policy.
• Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.
