Job summary

BaxterStorey IRL is seeking a PT Commis Chef for weekend shifts near Shannon Airport, Co. Clare. The role offers 20 hours per week with Friday and weekend shifts and includes the perk of own transport.

Qualifications

Proven experience working as a Chef or display a real passion for food.
Knowledge of some cooking techniques and cuisines.
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Own Transport is a requirement.

Responsibilities

Food Preparation – prepare and cook breakfast and light lunches according to recipes and standards.
Station Management – oversee production of items at your station and keep area stocked and clean.
Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all food handled, ensuring presentation and taste.
Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all team members and assist colleagues.
Cleaning and Maintenance – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment.
